Your November Workout Schedule is packed with fun workouts from HIIT to strength training, AMRAP to mobility challenges. Plus, an additional 25 day running schedule for anyone looking to run that Turkey Day trot!
Happy November! I can’t believe how fast time flies once September hits. Between birthdays and anniversaries, road trips and house guests I can honestly say I feel like I blinked and just like that a month is gone.
I love November. It feels like the eve of all of the winter holidays coming up. The cozy sweaters come out. The wood stove gets cleaned out. The mosquitos disappear…
It’s also a great time to get a jumpstart on your 2022 resolutions!
Don’t Wait to Start Your New Year’s Resolutions!
I know we’re a ways out from the new year BUT if you’re putting off till January 1st what you could be starting today, you’re really only hurting yourself.
Stay One Step Ahead
Imagine yourself two months from now. Think of all the things you can achieve between November 1st and January 1st.Two months of work can make a world of difference in your physique, your body composition, your strength and your mindset.
No More Excuses
Do you ever find yourself wondering where you’d be today with your goals if you’d only start way back when you said you were going to start? It makes no sense that when we decide we want something so badly, that we then say “I’ll start Monday”, or “That’s going on my NYE resolution list”.
You wake up every day with two choices: the choice to hide from change or the choice to evolve. Excuses are nothing but permission to wake up and hide. Choose more for yourself!
You’ll Be On a Roll
You have to walk before you run, right? You practice the steps, stand up when you fall down, and eventually find yourself able to sprint. Same goes for your resolutions. You might stumble at first because change can be difficult. It’s hard to reprioritize your life (hard, but not impossible). But eventually you’ll start to figure out what works and fitting fitness into your routine will feel more natural.
Imagine hitting the first day of the New Year with that kind of momentum!
Your November 2021 Workout Schedule
Here we go!
Here’s How to Make the November Workout Schedule Work for You!
This month you’ll find both your strength training classes AND a quick and dirty 5k training plan. Get ready for 11/25 feasting gobble jog style!
Here’s a quick overview of the schedule:
- Mondays are all about tabata – a high intensity interval style workout with proven fat burn benefits. Tabata is the best way to start your week off with fiery momentum!
- Tuesdays we focus on upper body work. I’m a firm believer in strength training and we take arm day seriously around here! You’ll find some variety in style. Somedays we add in cardio and some days we call planks our rest period!
- Wednesdays are typically a cardio day (or a rest day if you need one!). This month, cardio focuses on that Turkey Day Trot! Speed work teaches your body to run faster more efficiently – the faster you run, the quicker it’s over!
- Thursdays are dedicated to legs. Work your glutes, hamstrings, quads, and calves. My only guarantee is that you will feel it when we’re done.
- Fridays are a variety pack. Need a rest? Take it! If not, try out one of the workouts on your calendar: Core Challenge, Dumbbell 300s, Plank Challenge or Total Body AMRAP!
- Saturdays you can start to build your distance. A 5k is 3.1 miles and it’s smart to know you can finish (or more)before race day.
- Sundays are active rest days. Try one of my core and mobility workouts, or get down with your own stretching routine!
>> If you want some accountability and inspiration, I coach virtual classes every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 8:30 am. Email or DM me if you’re interested in trying a class out (first one’s on me).
>> If you can’t make class but still want some inspiration, check out the videos on my YouTube channel! There’s a ton of variety and structure all the way through.
